Ducks Solve Beavers, 6-2

The Northwest Territory Beavers got a superb performance from pitcher Frenk Reugebrink. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Long Island. The Ducks won the game, 6-2. Reugebrink came in in relief and pitched to 16 batters. The Ducks, at 17-12, sit in 4th place in the Menard's Low A.
Ron Aitken, who is tied for 10th in the 3A- in RBI with 17, aided the Long Island cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the second. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 3.
"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Aitken.
