Bompton Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Bompton Baby Lakers picked up a win at Field of the Browns, knocking off the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, 1-0. Starting pitcher Brian Quarles was a big reason why. Bompton reliever Michael Bowles picked up the win, upping his record to 5-5. Min-zhong Deng absorbed the loss. The Baby Lakers sit in third place in the Silver Low A with a record of 57-37.

Richard Tanner was the walk-off hero for Bompton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Baby Lakers center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Tanner told the Bompton Daily News.
