The Zoo was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Redwood Rhinos and Germantown Uruguayans.

Redwood picked up a win at The Zoo, toppling the Germantown Uruguayans, 3-2. Pitcher Jin-u Yong was one of the reasons the Rhinos triumphed. Yong got the win, improving to 1-9. He allowed 4 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. Yong allowed 1 run.

The Rhinos got an important contribution from shortstop Luis Tañón, who in the bottom of the third hit a 1-0 sinker into right-center for a solo home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Rhinos ahead, 3-0.

"We're scuffling right now," said losing manager Luis Díaz.

Germantown is in the throes of a 9-game skid.
