Uruguayans Lose Again, 2-1, to Sea Dogs

Han-soo Yang could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Germantown Uruguayans lost, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Maine Sea Dogs at Ballpark of Albuquerque. The winner was Adam Vinck in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Han-soo Yang took the loss. Yoshi Suzuki earned save number 5 this season.
Gerardo Carranza, not known for his power, had a big at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth. That's when he connected on a fastball from Han-soo Yang for a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season put Maine in front, 2-1.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Germantown manager Luis Díaz.
The losing skid has reached 7 games for Germantown.
