Plattsburgh rode a good effort from starter Logan Wrighton to beat the Maine Sea Dogs at Sea Dogs Park. The final score was 3-2. Plattsburgh reliever Mo Jones was the winner. His record is now 4-1. Yoshi Suzuki took the loss. Paul Stewart got credit for the save for Plattsburgh. It was his 23rd of the year.
Yll Januzaj's at-bat in the top of the fourth was significant for the Puffer Fish. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Plattsburgh trailing 2-0, the Puffer Fish second baseman reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run.
"This was a tough loss," said Maine manager Charles Wells. "It'll stick in my craw for a while."
Plattsburgh's record now stands at 53-34, placing them second in the Silver Low A.
