Pandas Need Extra Frames to Get Past Flamingos
The Montana Pandas defeated the Las Vegas Flamingos, 7-4, at The Strip today. Leading the charge for Montana was first baseman Dennis Moore. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Bertrand Scotton, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. The wins continue to add up for Montana, with the latest making it 11 in a row.

Montana needed the clutch hitting of Ron Pollard to notch the win. The center fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Pandas on top, 5-4. For the game, Pollard had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

In postgame comments, Pollard said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
