Brown Lays Hammer Down in 4-1 Win
|
The North Ft. Myers Gators beat the Germantown Uruguayans, 4-1. North Ft. Myers pitcher and Sheffield, Ohio, native Silas Brown led the way. Alex Wilson got the save, his 13th in 13 chances. The losing streak for Germantown has now reached 7 games.
Brown ran roughshod over the Germantown lineup. The right-hander allowed just 2 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 10. With the victory, he goes to 7-3 on the season.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Brown told the North Ft. Myers Chronicle.
