Warheads Squelch Rhinos Offense in Shutout Win
The Amarillo Warheads topped the Redwood Rhinos, 3-0, in USSL Low A action at Ballpark of Henderson. The game was highlighted by the performance of Amarillo pitcher Jack Hammer. Amarillo is now 36-43, Redwood 20-59.

The Warheads got a big hit from first baseman Alberto Mata. In the bottom of the fifth, Mata pounded a run-scoring double to right-center. His 7th double of the season put the Warheads ahead, 2-0.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Amarillo skipper Armentario Holguin.
