Dodge Field was the site for USSL Low A action featuring the North Ft. Myers Gators and Watford City Trash Pandas.
The Watford City Trash Pandas topped the North Ft. Myers Gators, 4-2, in USSL Low A action at Dodge Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Watford City pitcher Pedro Rodríguez. Watford City leads the Silver Low A by 3½ games.
Watford City used the clutch hitting of Eric Bryan to snag the win. The designated hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Trash Pandas ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a crucial one.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Watford City manager Bob Sosa. "It's usually not just one thing."
