Flint got a terrific performance from pitcher Delecha Letsego, but it wasn't enough to beat the Tijuana Toros. Tijuana won the Flint Park contest, 4-1. Letsego threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Eric Cummings, the winning pitcher, improved to 2-1. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 3 hits and 1 run, while striking out 7 and walking 4.

Tijuana relied on the bat of Jurrie Rehling to get the win. The catcher ripped a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Toros ahead, 2-0. For the game, Rehling had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"I still think this team can play even better," Rehling told the Tijuana Herald.
