Uruguayans Suffer 7-5 Setback

The Germantown Uruguayans got a superb performance from pitcher Luis García, but the Amarillo Warheads still won the game, 7-5. García threw 5.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Amarillo now sits in 7th place in the Silver Low A at 35-39.
Amarillo used a timely hit from Arturo Bautista to get the win. The pinch hitter delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Warheads on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was huge.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Bautista told the Amarillo Daily. "It's as simple as that."
