Bompton got an elite performance from starting pitcher Ken Leuthold in taking a 4-1 decision over the Redwood Rhinos. The 4th-place Baby Lakers now have a win-loss record of 40-32.

Leuthold was effective against the Rhinos, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Redwood to just 1 run on 4 hits over 8.2 innings.
