Lander Goes Deep Twice in 10-0 Puffer Fish Win
The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish bested the Amarillo Warheads by a score of 10-0, with left fielder Robert Lander getting the main credit. On the day, Lander hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Puffer Fish. Logan Wrighton got the win, improving to 6-2. He held the Warheads to no runs on 5 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 8 and walking 3. This win makes it 6 in a row for Plattsburgh.

Plattsburgh used a well-timed hit by Edgardo Hernández to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Puffer Fish ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Plattsburgh manager Wallace James.
