Led by Francisco López, the North Ft. Myers Gators downed the Amarillo Warheads, 9-8. López was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs for the Gators. The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with North Ft. Myers trailing 8-7, Yoshimune Sasaki hit a sinker from Wijnand Boone for a 2-run home run, giving the Gators the walk-off win.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Sasaki said.
