Ogallala Octopi starter Alfonso Ramírez was in fine form against the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople at The Igloo, leading his team to a win, 4-3. The save went to Ernest Thompson, number 1 for him. The Octopi, now 8-2, have stormed out of the gates.

In the top of the sixth inning, Joe Allison went deep for the Octopi. With Ogallala trailing 3-2, he drilled a solo home run.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Ramírez said.
