Redwood Gets 3-0 Win
|
The Redwood Rhinos took Germantown pitcher Han-soo Yang's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Ballpark of Albuquerque. The final score had Redwood getting past the Uruguayans, 3-0. Yang went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 6. The win gives the Rhinos a record of 15-43.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Sandross Bañaga? The Redwood third baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Rhinos on top, 2-0. For the game, Bañaga had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Bañaga said.
