The Ladue Rams trumped the Tijuana Toros, 7-6, at Ballpark of Wellsville. Ladue first baseman Étienne Duchesne was terrific. He was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. With the loss, Tijuana falls to 2-4.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Ladue trailing 6-4, Duchesne hit a fastball from Rod Mayfield for a 3-run home run, giving the Rams the walk-off win.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Duchesne said.
