The Bompton Baby Lakers got a stellar performance from pitcher Fernando Rivera, who handcuffed the Surprise offense en route to a win, 7-2, at Field of the Browns. Rivera went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 3, and struck out 9. His record improves to 6-2. Bompton is now 29-22.
