Deng Twirls a Gem for Bethlehem
|
The Bethlehem Angel Kitties topped the Amarillo Warheads, 4-0, in USSL Low A action at Kittie Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Bethlehem pitcher Min-zhong Deng. The save went to Jeremy Ramos, number 2 for him. At 25-19, the Angel Kitties find themselves in 5th place in the Silver Low A.
Deng, a native of Tachi, Taiwan, was dealing all game. He kept Amarillo hitters off-balance, while giving the Angel Kitties 7.1 quality innings. Deng threw 105 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 6.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Deng told the Bethlehem Observer.
