Warheads Lose By a Run at Bethlehem, 3-2
|
Bethlehem Angel Kitties starter Ray Spencer turned in a sterling performance against the Amarillo Warheads, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Spencer picked up the win for Bethlehem, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 6-2. Bethlehem now has a 3-game win streak.
With two out in the bottom of the fourth, Alastair Warnes barreled up a fastball from Anatolii Zhashkov. The result was a solo home run, putting the Angel Kitties in front, 3-0.
"Both teams played hard," said Bethlehem manager Sal Haynes.
