The Maine Sea Dogs got a magnificent effort from pitcher Vince Moran, who kept Plattsburgh hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Sea Dogs win at Sea Dogs Park. Mike Nichols was credited with the save for Maine, his 8th of the season. The win for the Sea Dogs raised their record to 24-18.

Maine grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, Andy McGee delivered a 2-run single, to make it 3-1 in favor of the Sea Dogs.

"I made some pitches when I had to," said Moran.
