Haywood U. Cuddleme pitched well, but his team, the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, still dropped a 3-2 decision to the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish at Kittie Park. Ronald Hensball, who went 7 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 7 hits, while walking 5 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 3-3. Paul Stewart nailed down his 7th save.
Plattsburgh took the lead in the top of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Matt Quinn stroked a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Puffer Fish.
"I really like what we did out there today," Quinn said after the game.
The 6th-place Puffer Fish have a record of 14-16.
