Rhinos Earn 4-3 Win Versus Trash Pandas
The Watford City Trash Pandas got a sterling performance from pitcher Ron Thomas, but the Redwood Rhinos still prevailed, 4-3. Thomas threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Redwood pitcher Jorge Castillo got the win, upping his record to 1-1. John Pierce got the loss. Redwood, with the win, climbs to 6-22.

Redwood used a clutch hit from Mathieu Duval to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rhinos ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a doozy.

Duval said afterward that he hoped the win would galvanize the team.
