The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish did just enough to sneak past the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, 2-1, at Kittie Park. Plattsburgh pitcher Logan Wrighton, in particular, had a standout performance. The 8th-place Puffer Fish improved to 12-16.

Plattsburgh used the timely hitting of Arnold Miller to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Puffer Fish on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Tough loss," said Bethlehem manager Sal Haynes. "But we'll learn from it."
