The Germantown Uruguayans took Watford City pitcher Mike Joseph's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Ballpark of Albuquerque. The final score had Germantown getting past the Trash Pandas, 5-4. Joseph went 6.1 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 10. Carlos López snagged the win in relief. In 2.1 innings, the right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits. He's now 2-0 on the season. Germantown's record now stands at 12-13, placing them 5th in the Silver Low A.

Claude Thomas was the walk-off hero for Germantown. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Uruguayans center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Thomas said.
