Puffer Fish Drop 2-1 Decision to Trash Pandas
|
The Watford City Trash Pandas got a magnificent performance from pitcher Ron Thomas, who muffled the Plattsburgh offense en route to a tight 2-1 Trash Pandas win at Trash Panda Field. Plattsburgh, at 10-13, has lost 4 straight.
Watford City took a 2-1 lead on John Rice's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Rice hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Plattsburgh pitcher Logan Wrighton visibly frustrated.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Plattsburgh skipper Wallace James, "and it cost us."
