The North Ft. Myers Gators withstood an impressive performance by Plattsburgh designated hitter Jesús Vega to defeat the Puffer Fish, 5-4, at Plattsburgh Park. Vega went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. The winner was Zhong-yi Lo, who threw 110 pitches over 7 innings. The left-hander was charged with 4 runs on 11 hits.
