Pandas Earn 3-2 Win Versus Lakers
The Echo Park Lakers got a sterling performance from pitcher Hang-ki Cong, but the Montana Pandas still prevailed, 3-2. Cong threw 6.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Jim Hunter snagged the win in relief. In 1.1 innings, the right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits. He's now 5-0 on the season. The Lakers have now dropped 7 straight.

Montana used the timely hitting of Dennis Moore to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Pandas on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Moore.
