Watford City Gets 7-0 Win Against Warheads
|
Amarillo had no answer for Watford City Trash Pandas starter Ron Thomas, who flummoxed Warheads hitters as the Trash Pandas cruised to victory, 7-0. Watford City is off to a hot start at 6-3.
In the bottom of the fifth, Watford City second baseman Tetsuo Yoshida had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Yoshida stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 4-0, Watford City. For the game, he was 1-3 with a hit by pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
