Hicksville Hot Streak Continues with 7-1 Win
Hicksville Hounds starter César Romero turned in an exceptional performance against the Ballard Beavers at The Beaver Dam, resulting in a Hicksville win, 7-1. Romero, now 8-6, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. The Hounds have now won 10 straight.

It could have been a different outcome for Hicksville, had it not been for Emory Frost, the 21-year old center fielder . Frost contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Hicksville up, 2-1.

Romero called the triumph "a good team win."
