Spirited fans greeted the Shady Side Zoomies for their clash with the Fort Knox Centennial.
In a low-scoring game between the Fort Knox Centennial and the Shady Side Zoomies, pitcher Roy Roberts was masterful on the mound. The Fort Knox right-hander spearheaded his team's 2-1 win. The Zoomies, now 28-51, have lost 4 in a row.
José Rojas, the 21-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Rojas contributed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put Fort Knox up, 2-0.
"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Rojas told the Fort Knox Daily News.
