Fort Knox Makes It 8 Straight with 2-0 Win
|
The Fort Knox Centennial had to overcome a fine performance from Beaumont pitcher Reynaldo López to grab a 2-0 win at The Target. López allowed no runs over 7.1 innings. Juan Carrillo closed the game out for Fort Knox, earning his 6th save. The Centennial improved to a lofty 61-14.
José Rojas contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the seventh. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. It was one at-bat that helped Fort Knox get the win.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Rojas.
