The Quebec City Baby Blues picked up a win at Dylan Park, taking down the Ballard Beavers, 4-3. Starting pitcher Morgan Evison was a big reason why. The winner in relief was Ho Pang. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 2-2. The Baby Blues have now won 5 straight.
Had John Harrison not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Harrison hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Baby Blues.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Evison.
