Fort Knox third baseman Gonzalo Zarauza was sensational. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Hicksville beat the Centennial, 6-5. Dean Bradley earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 7-6. With the win, the Hounds improved to 32-31.

Hicksville used the clutch hitting of Keith Long to capture the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Hounds ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Long said after the game.
