Acevedo Leads Music to Win
|
The Memphis Music beat the Beaumont Crossbeaus, 7-2, at The Target. Yerson Acevedo, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Memphis reliever Otis Mullen picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Christopher Parkin shouldered the loss. At 26-32, the Music find themselves in 7th place in the Premier Low A.
In the top of the first of a scoreless game, Acevedo hit a 3-run home run to put his team ahead.
Acevedo attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
