Sam Stewart was a vital contributor to the 14-6 Fort Knox victory over Memphis. The Centennial right fielder was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 7. Fort Knox leads the Premier Low A by 11 games.

Fort Knox used a well-timed hit by Joe Brouwers to capture the win. The catcher socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to put the Centennial ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Stewart told the Fort Knox Daily News.
