The 9-2 Fort Knox win over Hicksville was due largely to Gonzalo Zarauza. The Centennial third baseman went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Fort Knox has now won 3 in a row.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Zarauza, who is tied for 2nd in the PA- in home runs with 12, hit a solo home run. It propelled the Centennial into the lead, 2-1.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Zarauza.
