Butler Plays Big Role in Panama City Win
|
Las Vegas had no answer for Panama City Piranhas starter Pat Butler, who flummoxed Flamingos hitters as the Piranhas cruised to victory, 7-0. Panama City is in second place in the Silver League with a record of 17-7.
Butler made it look easy. He scattered 3 hits over 7.1 innings, while racking up 10 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 3-0.
"Pat just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Panama City manager Brian Talamante.
