Gallos Take Nail-Biter Over Hobeaus
The Delmarva Gallos took Smoky Mountain pitcher Eduardo Sánchez's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The Cage. The final score had Delmarva getting past the Hobeaus, 4-3. Sánchez went 6 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 1. Jorge Cabral, credited with the win, is now 2-2. He allowed no runs on 1 hit. The Gallos saw their win-loss record go to 51-33. At the same time, the Hobeaus fell to 39-45.

The Gallos procured the win, in large part because of catcher José Rodríguez. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Rodríguez told the Delmarva News.
