Arryns Saddle Seahawks with 6-1 Loss
|
The Lake Erie Arryns topped the Myrtle Beach Seahawks by the score of 6-1, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Matt Dunham. Dunham was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Arryns. Lake Erie reliever Fernando Arroyo picked up the win to move to 5-0. Greg Lovell suffered the loss. Lake Erie bumps their record to 42-41 with the win.
Making an impact for the home team was Philip Willis. In the bottom of the sixth, the 23-year old catcher had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 2-0, Arryns.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Dunham said after the game.
