Hobeaus Win at Myrtle Beach, 4-2

The Smoky Mountain Hobeaus and Myrtle Beach Seahawks played an exciting game.
The Smoky Mountain Hobeaus defeated the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 4-2, in USPL Single A action at Seahwaks Stadium. Smoky Mountain pitcher Eduardo Sánchez had a standout performance. Sánchez, the winner, moves to 4-9. He threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 3 walks. Yok-sing Zhou locked down his 20th save.
The Hobeaus benefited from a costly error in the top of the sixth. With Ken Trowsdale at bat and Smoky Mountain leading 3-2, the Myrtle Beach miscue allowed Smoky Mountain to plate 1 and take the lead, 4-2.
Trowsdale called the triumph "a good team win."
The 6th-place Hobeaus are 39-40.
