A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Fort Knox Centennial and Hicksville Hounds.

Víctor Sánchez drove in 3 runs to help Fort Knox defeat Hicksville, 7-2. The right fielder had 1 double and 1 home run for the Centennial. Fort Knox pitcher José Carlos got the win, upping his record to 1-1. César Romero got the loss.

With Fort Knox leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Sánchez hit a fastball from César Romero for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Centennial ahead, 4-0.

"We did a lot of things right," said Sánchez.

The win takes Fort Knox to 8-3.
