|
In a well-pitched game between the Lake Erie Arryns and the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, pitcher Wan-hua Yi was fantastic. The Lake Erie right-hander helped his team secure the win, 2-1. Lake Erie is now 36-32.
Lake Erie used the clutch hitting of Marc Porter to capture the win. The center fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Arryns the lead, 2-1. For the game, Porter had 2 singles and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Porter.
