Arryns Win, 4-1, Over Myrtle Beach

The Lake Erie Arryns went home winners at Seahwaks Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Li Knight. Knight stifled the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, enabling Lake Erie to grab the 4-1 win. Knight, the winner, moves to 2-7. He threw 5 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 3 walks. Johnny Flannery recorded the save, his 15th.
Kevin Rousseau, the 23-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Rousseau contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the third inning to put Lake Erie up, 2-1.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Lake Erie manager Sammy Bannatyne. "It's usually not just one thing."
Lake Erie goes to 35-32, Myrtle Beach to 26-41.
