Seahawks Knock Off Airmen at Seahwaks Stadium

The Myrtle Beach Seahawks dealt the Alameda Airmen a 5-2 loss at Seahwaks Stadium. Daniel Major was the star on offense. He was 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk. Thaddeus Alambra earned the save for Myrtle Beach, his 2nd of the year. Myrtle Beach is 23-39 and Alameda, with the loss, 31-31.
Michael Gibson, who is tied for 6th in the PA with a .362 on-base percentage, helped out the Myrtle Beach cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring triple. For the game, the left fielder went 1-3 with a triple and a walk.
"Enjoyed this one," Gibson told the Myrtle Beach Chronicle. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
