Pinto Excels, But Baby Blues Win

Fans of the Quebec City Baby Blues who packed the stands for the home opener were rewarded with a Quebec City win over the visiting Hudsonville Flanderses, 8-3. Sherman Travis started for the home team against Colin Potter. José Pinto earned accolades for his performance.
Lúcio García helped out the Quebec City cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the shortstop went 1-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
In postgame comments to the Quebec City Herald, García said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
