With right fielder Daniel Major leading the charge, the Myrtle Beach Seahawks defeated the South Beach Blaze, 4-3, at Seahwaks Stadium. Major, who leads the PA in home runs with 9, was 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. The win belongs to Thaddeus Alambra in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Jorge Vásquez took the loss for South Beach. The win has Myrtle Beach at 19-30.

The Seahawks procured the win, in large part because of center fielder Teddy Perkins. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Myrtle Beach skipper Tom Oglander. "I can't complain."
