The Delmarva Gallos picked up a win at The Cage, knocking off the Lake Erie Arryns, 4-3. On the mound for Delmarva was left-hander Kris Collins, who played a pivotal role in the win. Collins, now 2-3, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. At 17-21, the Gallos are currently 7th in the Premier A.
Xavier Manning contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a sacrifice fly. It was one at-bat that helped Delmarva get the win.
"It's a mindset," said Manning. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
