Lake Erie starter Li Knight kept the Alameda hitters in check, helping his team cruise to a win, 9-2. Knight got the win, improving to 1-4. He allowed 4 hits and walked 2 over 7.1 innings. Knight allowed 2 runs. The Arryns move to 14-14 with the win, while the Airmen drop to 16-12.
The Arryns benefited from a costly error in the top of the first. With Sidney Nuesink at bat and Lake Erie leading 1-0, the Alameda miscue allowed Lake Erie to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.
