Miller in Fine Form in 2-0 Win
|
In a tight game between the Columbia River Rats and the Grim Reapers, pitcher John Miller was terrific on the mound. The Columbia right-hander helped his team to the 2-0 win. The win puts the River Rats at 61-35, while the Reapers drop to 40-56.
The famously hardworking Miller handled the Reapers all day, notching 10 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 4 hits. Miller, who is tied for 4th in the SA with a 12 quality starts, goes to 8-6 on the year with 131 strikeouts.
"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the River Rats," said Miller.
